Wristband Design

When selecting the style of wristband that you require there are a number of factors that you should consider. The following information about the various styles of wristband that are available should help you to decide upon the best style of wristband for your event.

Wristband Styles

There are a number of different wristband styles that you can choose from, including Hospital Wristbands, Straight Wave Wristbands, Stub Wristbands, Tyvek Wristbands and Wide Face Wristbands.

Wristband Style	Wristband Uses / Functions
Hospital Wristbands	Hospital Wristbands are (as the name suggests) ideal for use by patients in a hospital. Hospital Wristbands are available in a variety of different colours, which can therefore be colour co-ordinated to different departments within the hospital. The Wide Face design gives the ability to add notes onto a panel on the wristband. Straight Wave Wristbands	Straight Wave Wristbands are a slim style wristband, that attach using a plastic snap pin. Straight Wave Wristbands can be easily adjusted to different sizes. Straight Wave Wristbands are available in both plastic and vinyl materials. These Wristbands are also available in a range of different styles and colours including patterned and sparkle. Reusable Snap Straight Wave Wristbands are also available, making them ideal for small events and functions that require wristbands frequently and do not want to always replace the wristbands. Stub Wristbands	Stub Wristbands offer tear off sections, which are added onto the end of the wristband. Stub Wristbands are ideal to use when 'tokens' need to be given for entrance into sections of events or for free drinks etc. Stub Wristbands are available in Tyvek™ and Vinyl materials. Tyvek™ Wristbands	Tyvek™ Wristbands are available in a variety of different styles, including plain wristbands, patterned wristbands, pinfeed wristbands, bar-coded wristbands and stub wristbands. Wide Face Wristbands	Wide Face Wristbands are similar in style to the Straight Wave Wristbands, although feature a wide panel on the end of the wristband. This panel is ideal for making notes or comments on the wristbands. Wide Face Wristbands are available in vinyl, with a wide selection of different colours. VIEW EXAMPLES OF WIDE FACE WRISTBANDS

The different styles of wristbands are available in a number of different materials including Tyvek™, Plastic and Vinyl. There are also a wide range of colours and patterns that are available.

Patterned Wristbands

Patterned Wristbands are ideal for particular events and holidays such as car racing, water parks, Halloween and Christmas (with racing car, water slide, bat and Santa patterns and designs available). There are also a variety of general patterns that can also be printed onto patterned wristbands, including stars, spirals, waves and much more.

Patterned Wristbands are also available in textual patterns such as VIP and Drinking Age Verification.

The pattern that you choose to display on your wristbands should obviously be chosen to reflect the style or theme of your particular event. The colour of the wristband should also be taken into consideration, as the various patterns appear differently on different colour backgrounds.

Coloured Wristbands

When selecting the colour for your wristbands, you should consider the colours of your particular event, as well as your particular uses for the wristbands.

If your event or function is based around a certain colour theme, it may be best to select wristbands which match this colour theme. Your event may be based around a certain company, in which case you may consider using the companies corporate colours for the wristbands.

Another consideration is whether you require different coloured wristbands to signify different ticket types, entrance levels, seating arrangements etc.
